Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and happy everything else too.

I realize it's been a while since our last update. I didn't realize life would be even busier once Amy started Kindergarten.

She loves school and has already surpassed all of the kids in her class. One day a week she gets to go to a Kindergarten Enrichment class. Basically it's a class for the smart kids. She'll be tested next year for the gifted program. She has made lots of new friends, including one other little girl, Alexa (who is pictured in one of the pictures with Amy), who also goes to the smart kids class.

Christmas was a fun time around our house. This seemed to be the year for crafty things. Amy is definitely becoming more creative, imaginative, and crafty. She loves to make things, and we're running out of places to put things and keep things.

The bear she is holding in one of the pictures was from friends Rita & Clay. This was the first present she opened and I don't think he ever left her side that entire day.

Amy also had her very first piece of Schellenbach Ice Box Cake. A rich, dark chocolate and lady finger cake - that was almost too rich for her to finish. She also helped me make the cake and has started taking an interest in cooking and watching cooking shows. So far, Everyday Italian seems to be her favorite on the food network.

The other favorite past-time around our house has been game playing. She got a treasure chest full of games for Christmas (from Uncle Phil) and has been learning how to play card games like Hearts, Crazy 8's, Animal Rummy, and Old Maid, and board games like Chess, Backgammon, Sorry, Monopoly, and even Scrabble.

And since I know everyone is waiting to see the pictures, here they are. Enjoy and Happy New Year. See you again in 2006.
